Raven Software is back with another button-smashing action RPG featuring over 20 characters from the Marvel universe. While there have been a number of changes since the latest title, the most obvious is in the graphics. Raven has ditched the old cartoonish character models for fully-realized 3D models.
Your task this time around is to take your Marvel super-heroes and stop Doctor Doom from seizing the incredible powers from Odin. As usual, IGN Guides is here to help you through the many missions and the game and stop Doctor Doom and his Masters of Evil.

Cheat: All Powers
At the main menu or a S.H.E.I.L.D. save zone menu, quickly press LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, Start. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.

Unlockables
Hard Mode: Beat the game on Normal
Nick Fury: Beat the game on Easy or Normal
Daredevil: Collect the five Daredevil action figures. You should have Daredevil half way through act three.

1. free the guy trapped in a clam (Atlantis). He gives you a code to unlock a close by chest near a fallen submarine

2. Dr. Strange's library

3. Beginning of the circus level in Dooms Castle, break down the door to a storage room

4. Near the Odin statue's left hand in the Bifrost level is a button that will reveal a chest with the action figure

5. Take the right path in the Asgard level. It's on a small path before you get to the houses.
Black Panther: Collect the five Black Panther action figures
Dr. Strange: Save Dr. Strange in Mandarin's Palace
Ghost Rider: Trade places with Ghost Rider in Hell in order to save his soul
Blade: Beat toy grab minigame in the Carnival in Murderworld.
Second & third costumes for all characters: Must play as that character and gain between 2-4 levels.
Fourth costume for all characters: Beat the Combat Training challenge for the character.
Silver Surfer: Defeat Galactus on the Skrull Throneworld.

Hint - Indestructable Weapon
I first discovered this trick while playing in the Asgard simulator (though it will work any where), and, thus far, only works with Colossus. When confronted by a foe without,/i> a usable weapon and one with a usable weapon, take hold of the unarmed foe using BLUE button attacks and while still holding your prey, grab the weapon from the armed foe by pressing BLUE followed by rapidly pressing GREEN.

The enemy who was in your grasp will now be stuck from head to waist in the ground, with their feet kicking in the air (and immune to further interaction). The weapon you now hold cannot be destroyed unless it is stolen from you or you drop it. This really came in handy when trying to max out my outfits and levels in the Asgard simulator. The Loki Troll mace destroys hordes of foes in just one or two swings.

Hint - Massive Trick
Want to get 100000+ Points in one combo? Here's how. You'll need to find an area with two quarter pipes and a bit of an open area, not too uncommon in the game.

First off, get speed by doing spins between the two quarter pipes. Once you have a full metre of focus and lots of speed, go up the quarter pipe and perform the following tricks (doesnt have to be exact, just try);

- Get into focus mode
- Vertical Body Varial (flipping your entire body)
- Kickflip
- 360 Spin
- Kickflip

You should be able to do all of that before you begin falling again, now on your way down begin a "Nail the Trick" (press both sticks in), it doesnt matter what trick you do, but try to get atleast 3 different flips in. Then, even out your board and land.

When you land, do a stance-switch (press the right trigger), doing this lets you continue your combo on the ground. Right after the stance switch get into a manual (obviously, more points for doing a kickflip or other trick into the manual). Now that you're in manual, turn on focus again if it's stopped, and do as many grinds/stance switches/manual conversions as possible.

Finally, roll out of the manual and you'll have racked up a huge point count for that one combo, as long as you kept your manual long (if you can keep the manual going for about a minute, you're set.)

Superman Returns: The Videogame Cheats

Cheat: Infinite Health

Unlockable: Bizarro
You can find the cheat code on the Superman Returns DVD. At the menu, enter UP, RIGHT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP. Once entered, fly to the top of the GNN building.
Unlockable: Pod Suit
You have to defeat Bizarro.

Cheats
Enter these cheats while in the Fortress of Solitude. To get there, hit BACK while in the game to access the map, then press YELLOW to access the Fortress. "Supe R Man" cannot access the fortress while there are enemies around, only when you're in free fly mode, so go kick some ass.

Using cheats will not earn you any achievements while they are active (although one achievement -- specifically for entering a cheat -- will unlock as soon as the first code is entered). You still have to go out through the city and find your lost/hidden kittens and mini-games.

Hint - Final Tornado
The final tornado that threatens Metropolis is easy to figure out after a few tries. First off when it appears, you have to save about 3 or 4 citizens in various places. Do that first.

Then you have to go and put out a couple of building fires. Try using the SUPER DUPER Breath. One blow will snuff the fires. Then Superman will say something corny -- along the lines of, "I have to try one more time". He'll automatically fly into the tornado and here's where the encounter gets simple.

When the tornado turns blue inside, use your heat vision and when the tornado turns red, use your ice breath.

Quest Translation
Quests can be done on any difficulty and on any stage that has the criteria. If you repeat the quest criteria in some stages, it will not satisfy the quest (you must repeat the feat in another stage, but you can still do it on any difficulty).

Completing the last right two quests on row 5 will unlock the corresponding six new wallpapers (switch on the title screen using LB and RB). The other quests will unlock hair, arm, top, bottom, and leg parts for Dresses Up mode.

When you first look at the XBL Achievements for the game, there are six "secret" achievements to unlock. Here they are, and how to obtain them:

Let The Creative Juices Flow (5pts): Create one original Superstar using the Create-A-Superstar mode.
Crown Us The Champ! (10pts): Create a Tag Team Championship in Create-A-Championship mode.
Mr. PPV (5pts): Create an original PPV event in Create-A-PPV mode.
With Friends Like These (5pts): Create an original stable of Superstars in Create-A-Stable mode.
Self Anointed Champion (10pts): Create a singles Championship in Create-A-Championship mode.

Hint - Easy Season Mode
Plug in a second controller and interrupt the season mode fights. Click multiplayer and simply bash n' pin the "cooperative" second player and win the match!

This also works for General Manager mode; the only disadvantage you have would be the challengers, because you can't do what you could in WWE 2006 (use exhibition mode) and instead you have to do them straight from your locker room (Direct Challenge).

For those who are wondering what is in store for you after you beat the first two sets of challengers (Amateur and Legend tiers) the special challenge is that you have to be MICKIE JAMES and defeat THE GREAT KHALI. Good Luck!

Hint - All 3 Season Achievements In One Go
Start a Season mode in any difficulty and play through it like normal. After the Unforgiven PPV, save your game and continue to next week. The credits will then start to roll and you will get an achievement for season completion.

During the credits, return to your Xbox Dashboard by pressing the Guide button and selecting "dashboard". This lets you reset and start the game over after earning your achievement.

Go to season mode and select continue. Before continuing to next week, change the difficulty setting to something else and then select continue week. You will then get another achievement. Proceed to do this one more time for the last seasonal achievement.

Sonic the Hedgehog Cheats

Unlockable: Shadow The Hedgehog
Finish Crisis City with Sonic.

Unlockable: Last Episode
You must complete Sonic's Episode, Shadow's Episode, and Silver's Episode.

Just Cause Cheats

Jump Glitch
Equip a weapon and press RED to jump. Immediately upon jumping, change weapons. This will cause the jumping action to be repeated, so you can double jump. In this second jump, if you change weapon again, you will jump another time. You can repeat this as much as you want.

This lets Rico climb any building or gap, provided you start with a forward (not stationary) jump. If you don't manage to do the trick, rico will simply fall. If you do the trick too quickly Rico will either stay still or go horizontal. It is best to alternate between two weapons rather than to cycle along, and to have more than 2 weapons in case you change to unarmed or don't change weapons at all.

This trick allows you to get huge base jumps such as my best, 2129m (twice the achievement record). Very useful technique if you are stuck in the jungle, miles away from any road.
